| Ballots go out October 6th for the
International Brotherhood of Teamsters to elect its next president. The
election comes at a volatile time within the Teamsters and the labor
movement in general. |

| Teamster members will elect the top
officers of the union through mail-in ballots in December 2006. James P.
Hoffa is running for his second full-term in office. Tom Leedham, from
Portland, Oregon is still trying to beat General President Hoffa. Many
issues remain unresolved for top leadership and members have concerns.
